A three-star safety recruit out of high school, he committed to Marshall but didn’t qualify academically. He moved to receiver full-time and played two seasons at the juco level. He flirted with the CFL, too, but the pandemic threw off those plans. So, Jiles signed with Division II Virginia Union and sat out the 2021 season to get his grades in order. After a productive 2022, he transferred to West Florida for his final year.

The It’s All a Blur Tour was originally announced in March coming off their collaborative album, Her Loss, in 2022. Drake’s new album, For All The Dogs, is scheduled to be released in the coming weeks. Drake last performed in Charlotte for the Drake vs. Lil Wayne Tour in 2014 at PNC Music Pavilion. The Giants used their first-round pick on wide receiver Malik Nabers, finally giving Daniel Jones a legitimate No. 1 option. The rest of the position room fills out nicely behind Nabers, creating a potentially speedy and explosive group featuring Darius Slayton, Wan’Dale Robinson and Jalin Hyatt.
SPECIALISTS
Although he doesn’t create a ton of space, Jiles does a great job with his size and body positioning to create workable windows and pull in erratic throws with his wide net. Ovie (OH-vee) Oghoufo (uh-GO-fu) was born in Nigeria, but he grew up in Detroit and learned football from his cousin (Mario Ojemudia). He was initially a tight end before playing defensive end and posting 106 tackles as a senior. A three-star recruit, he fell in love with Notre Dame (over Michigan) and spent three seasons in South Bend. He transferred to Texas and had his best season in 2022 — but passed up the NFL to rejoin Brian Kelly at LSU.

Before arriving at Missouri, however, he spent five seasons at Eastern Michigan, including three where he was the starting left tackle for some prolific passing offenses. The Giants chose to neglect the offensive line during the draft, but that wasn’t the case in free agency where they added Jon Runyan Jr., Jermaine Eluemunor, Aaron Stinnie, Austin Schlottmann and Matt Nelson. But with the position room’s injuries and struggles last season, which led to the firing of coach Bobby Johnson (replaced by Carmen Bricillo), there cannot be enough depth here. The Giants heavily invested in their pass rush this offseason, acquiring Brian Burns via trade, and there are high expectations for him and fellow pass rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux. Azeez Ojulari rounds out the Giants top three on the depth chart, but there’s room here for Oghoufo — or someone else — to make his case since the Giants are unlikely to be adding any veterans at this spot. Oghoufo will be competing against the likes of Boogie Basham, Tomon Fox, Benton Whitley and Jeremiah Martin.
And then there is Drake, who played baseball, basketball, and football growing up. He developed into a pretty solid quarterback, winning both ACC Player of the Year and ACC Offensive Player of the Year in 2022, and he looks the part of an NFL player at 6-foot-4 and 230 lbs. The Maye brothers don't carry the same rambunctious nature of Rob Gronkowski and his brothers, who brought their antics to Foxboro during Gronkowski's career with the Patriots. But we should see plenty of the Maye boys at the home of the Patriots, while younger brother Drake tries to carry the family name into the NFL. The Maye boys -- Luke, Cole, Beau, and Drake -- grew up a competitive bunch in Cornelius, North Carolina. They all pushed each other, both literally and figuratively, and have all enjoyed some level of success either on the football field, the basketball court, or the baseball diamond. FOXBORO -- It was clear from a young age that new Patriots quarterback Drake Maye was going to become an athlete.
Rogers, who will turn 26 years old during his first NFL season, is No. 1 here because of the depth still needed along the interior defensive line. The Giants did not add a defensive lineman in the draft and there are not many known commodities behind Dexter Lawrence, Rakeem Nunez-Roches and Jordan Phillips. Davidson don’t show improvement, there could be a path for Rogers. The New Jersey quarterback became a hometown favorite while playing nine games for the New York Giants, generating buzz and plenty of feel-good stories during New York’s dismal 6-11 season.
Iorry “Casey” Rogers grew up playing football and lacrosse — his father (Lelan) was the lacrosse defensive coordinator at Syracuse ( ). After initially committing to Syracuse for lacrosse, he switched his focus back to football (as a defensive end and tight end). After a prep year out of high school, he committed to Nebraska and was due for a breakout season in 2021, but a preseason knee injury derailed those plans. He earned his degree, then transferred to Oregon (over USC and Auburn). Rogers displays above-average athleticism to play in gaps or work up/down the line chasing the run.
